This Privacy Policy explains how Think Smart Group Inc. (“Think Smart”, “we”, “us” or “our”) accesses, collects, stores, uses and shares (together, “processes”) your information when you visit the website at https://vela.cloud and use the related Vela Cloud services we describe there (together, the “Services”). Vela Cloud is a brand of Think Smart Group Inc.

1. What information we collect

Information you provide to us

We collect the personal information you voluntarily provide when you submit an inquiry through our contact form or otherwise contact us. Depending on what you choose to share, this may include:

• your company;
• your business email address;
• your website;
• your application or product name;
• the approximate number of customers and users you have;
• your current hosting model; and
• the details of your message.

We do not process sensitive personal information. All information you provide must be true, complete and accurate, and you should notify us of any changes to it.

This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics, and we do not track your activity across other websites. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts; when your browser requests those files, Google may process your IP address in order to deliver them. Most browsers let you refuse or remove cookies through their settings.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy: principally, for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your inquiry, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When we no longer have a legitimate business need to process your information, we will delete or anonymise it, or, if that is not possible, securely store it and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organisational security measures designed to protect the personal information we process. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Transmission of personal information to and from the Services is at your own risk.

Withdrawing consent. If we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Marketing communications. You can opt out of any marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. We may still send you service-related messages, such as replies to your inquiry.

10. Controls for Do-Not-Track features

Most browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) setting. No uniform standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised, so we do not currently respond to them. California law requires us to disclose that, because there is currently no industry or legal standard for honouring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time.
